The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and governance oversight for the Society of Scholars. Working collectively, the Board supports the Society’s mission, guides its strategic direction, promotes research excellence, and ensures the effective implementation of its objectives and activities.
The Board is committed to advancing scientific research, strengthening collaboration, supporting innovation, and contributing to the development of a vibrant research community in the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Waddah Al Hashimi serves as President of the Society of Scholars and provides strategic leadership for the Society’s activities, partnerships, and long-term development. He works closely with the Board and stakeholders to advance the Society’s mission and strengthen its contribution to scientific research and knowledge development.
Dr. Rashed Karkain serves as Vice President of the Society of Scholars and supports the strategic direction and development of the Society. He contributes to advancing research initiatives, strengthening partnerships, promoting innovation, and supporting programs that enhance scientific research and knowledge transfer.
Dr. Ghanim Kashwani serves as Secretary General and oversees the administrative and organizational affairs of the Society. He supports the implementation of Board decisions, coordination of activities, and effective communication with members and stakeholders.
Dr. Hani Hosni serves as Treasurer and supports the Society’s financial oversight and stewardship. He contributes to ensuring sound financial management practices that support the Society’s sustainability and long-term objectives.
Supports the Society’s mission through participation in governance, strategic planning, and initiatives that advance scientific research and knowledge development.
Contributes to the Society’s activities and initiatives while supporting the advancement of research, innovation, and collaboration.
Supports the Society’s objectives through participation in governance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives.
Contributes to the Society’s development and supports activities that promote research excellence and community engagement.
Supports the Society’s programs and initiatives while contributing to the advancement of scientific research and knowledge sharing.
